1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GateConsole, our website, products, and services. By accessing or using GateConsole, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing our platform, or using any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use GateConsole.

3. Our Services

GateConsole provides an AI gateway and control plane to help organizations monitor, govern, and route their AI usage across multiple models and providers. Our services include:

  • Monitoring and analytics for AI usage and costs
  • Policy and guardrail controls
  • Model and provider management
  • Team and access management
  • Applications and routing configuration
  • Integrations with third-party gateways and providers

Which features you can use depends on your plan. We may add, change or retire features as the platform develops, and will give reasonable notice of any change that materially reduces what your plan includes.

4. Account Responsibilities

If you sign up on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind it to these Terms, and “you” then includes that organization. You agree to:

  • Give us accurate, current account and billing information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your login details, API keys and the provider credentials you connect to GateConsole confidential and secure.
  • Assign roles and permissions in Teams & RBAC carefully. You are responsible for what the people you invite do in your workspace.
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account, workspace or keys.

You are responsible for all activity under your account, including requests sent through the gateway by your applications, users and keys.

5. Acceptable Use

GateConsole exists to help teams use AI more securely and responsibly. When you use it, you agree not to:

  • Break the law, or the terms and usage policies of the model providers you connect through GateConsole.
  • Switch off, bypass or work around guardrails, policies, rate limits, budgets or other security controls, whether ours or a third party’s.
  • Access, or try to access, another customer’s workspace, data or credentials.
  • Scan, probe or test the platform for vulnerabilities without our written permission. Report issues to us instead.
  • Interfere with or overload the service, or send traffic designed to degrade it.
  • Reverse engineer, copy or resell the platform, or offer access to it to others without our agreement.
  • Send data through GateConsole that you have no right to process, or use it to create or spread malware, fraud or other unlawful content.

Responsible use of AI is yours to own

You decide which models your applications use and how their outputs are used. Guardrails, alerts and routing policies in GateConsole help you reduce risk, but they do not replace your own review. You are responsible for human oversight where it is needed, for telling the people affected by your applications where the law requires it, and for complying with the laws that apply to your use of AI.

6. API Usage and Limits

Access to the GateConsole API and gateway is subject to the following:

API keys
Keys are issued to your workspace and are for your use only. Treat them like passwords, rotate them if they may be exposed, and do not embed them in public code.
Rate limits and quotas
Request, token and seat limits depend on your plan and are shown in your dashboard. We may throttle or reject traffic above them.
Protecting the service
If traffic threatens the security or stability of the platform or other customers, we may limit or suspend it, and will tell you why where we reasonably can.
Provider charges
Model providers bill you under your own agreement with them unless your plan says otherwise. Cost, budget and alert features in GateConsole are estimates based on the data available to us, for your convenience, and are not an invoice.

7. Intellectual Property

GateConsole and its licensors own the platform, including the software, interfaces, documentation, designs and trademarks. While you have an active account, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the platform for your internal business purposes, under these Terms. We keep all rights not expressly granted.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve our products without obligation to you. Your own applications, prompts, policies and data remain yours (see Data and Content).

8. Data and Content

“Customer Data” means the data you or your applications send through GateConsole or store in your workspace, including prompts, responses, application and routing configuration, policies and logs.

  • You own your Customer Data

You give us only the rights needed to run the service for you: to route requests to the providers you choose, apply the guardrails and policies you configure, and produce your logs, usage and cost reporting. We do not use Customer Data to train AI models.

  • Third-party providers

Requests you route through GateConsole are processed by the model providers and gateways you connect, under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for what those providers do with data you send them or for the outputs they return.

  • Your responsibility for what you send

You are responsible for having the rights, notices and legal basis to send Customer Data through the platform, and for configuring logging and redaction to suit your needs.

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. A data processing agreement is available on request.

9. Service Availability

We work to keep GateConsole highly available and publish live status for the API, dashboard and gateway. We may carry out maintenance, and will try to give notice of planned downtime that affects you.

We cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service. The gateway depends on third-party model providers and networks that we do not control, so their outages or slowdowns can affect your traffic. Routing, fallback and alerting features are there to reduce that impact, not to remove it. Any uptime commitment or service credit applies only if it is set out in a written agreement or order form with us.

10. Termination

You may stop using GateConsole and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, do not pay amounts due, put the security or stability of the platform at risk, or if we must do so by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

When your access ends, your right to use the platform stops. Please export what you need beforehand. We will then delete or anonymize your workspace data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, limitation of liability and any unpaid fees, survive termination.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, GateConsole is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that guardrails, policies or alerts will detect every risk, or that outputs from third-party AI models will be accurate, safe or suitable for your purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as GateConsole and the law change. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes we will give you reasonable advance notice by email or in the product. If you keep using GateConsole after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service and close your account.
